Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer special ticket rates for concessions?
All adult ticket prices are the same. There are no concessions, except for carers/assistants (see disabled facilities below).
Are there cash machines?
We recommend you take cash out before you arrive at Open House, as many of our exhibitors are small artisan producers and some do not have card facilities. There are cash points in the Sandown Park main entrance foyer and in the exhibition hall but they carry a charge and we cannot guarantee they will be operating. Esher High Street has a variety of banks and cash point facilities.
Do you charge for car parking?
No. Parking at Sandown Park is free.
Can I get there by train?
Yes. The nearest station is Esher and it’s a 15-minute walk from Sandown Park. Turn left out of the station onto Station Road and then right at the T- junction to join the A307 Portsmouth Road. The entrance to Sandown Park is on the right-hand side. Please note that Esher rail station is located outside of Zones 1-6 and that Oyster Cards are not valid when travelling to Esher. A paper ticket must be purchased in advance of travelling. For all National Rail enquiries please call 08457 48 49 50 or visit their website. Esher Station Cars (Tel. 0208 398 7676) have a rank at the station, but it is always safer to book.
Are there disabled facilities?
Disabled parking bays are situated near the Main Entrance. The main entrance is accessible for wheelchairs users and there are disabled/wheelchair user toilet facilities onsite. Guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs are all welcome. For a complimentary ticket for carers/assistants – please contact us in advance to arrange the ticket on 01580 236071, proof of eligibility will be requested.
Where can I eat and drink?
Open House has booked a selection of outside caterers to provide lunch and refreshments for you to enjoy.
Can I bring children?
Yes, although we do not provide any specific facilities for the children. If your child is under five their entry to the Fair will be free, between the ages of five and 15 they will be entitled to a child ticket and after 16 they will need to purchase a regular ticket.
